Hundreds of journalists demanded that President Trump be confronted forcefully at the White House Correspondents Dinner. And they nearly got their wish.    The media’s hatred of this man is really at demonic levels. It’s unhinged. And yet, when the gunman attacked, President Trump ordered the Secret Service to protect the journalists. He was deeply concerned about their safety and well-being.    And he was determined to stay and resume the program to accommodate the reporters. That notion was quickly dismissed by the Secret Service. We begin with the California gubernatorial debate. Two Republicans and a slew of Democrats hoping to be Gavin Newsom’s successor. One issue in particular generated a lot of controversy – whether or not truck drivers should be required to understand English. It’s seems to be a reasonable requirement. We should want anybody driving an 80 thousand pound truck to know what the word “yield” means or “sharp curve ahead.” But California Democrats say forcing black and brown Californians and illegal immigrants to know what the word “stop means is racial profiling – and in some cases – a form of terrorism.” What say you, America? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Justice Department announced an 11-count indictment accusing the SPLC of fraud. They also stand accused of giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to paid informants inside extremist groups. One of the more shocking accusations is that the SPLC actually organized the Charlottesville riot – that left one woman dead and sparked nationwide protests. The SPLC has a notorious history of slandering Christian groups like Family Research Council, Turning Point USA and even yours truly as hate groups.  Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche says the SPLC paid sources to stoke racial hatred. Sen. Chris Murphy, the Democrat from Connecticut, is under fire for appearing to cheer on America’s enemy during the middle of a war. It was reported that 26 ships in Iran’s shadow fleet had been able to run the U.S. blockade in the Strait of Hormuz. In response to that news, the senator tweeted one word, “Awesome.” White House spokesperson Olivia Wales told Fox News the congressman’s social media message crossed the line. “It takes an insane level of Trump Derangement Syndrome to cheer for a terrorist regime that chants ‘Death to America,” Wales told the network. “Chris Murphy is an America-last, radical left lunatic who stands for illegal aliens and Iranian terrorists over the American people,” she added. “The only thing ‘awesome’ will be when he is out of office.” First of all, there is no evidence that Iran has a shadow fleet or that they were able to evade the U.S. Navy. And to suggest otherwise is outrageous. “This is what late-stage TDS looks like: Cheering on Iran to defeat the U.S. Navy,” read a statement from the Trump War Room on X. The congressman’s office defended the message and said it was nothing more than sarcasm. It appears that Sen. Murphy is either a moron or he’s a traitor to his country. It’s time to start calling out these treasonous Democrats for who and what they really are. Treason is a crime in the United States of America. It’s defined in part as giving “comfort” to the enemy. And that’s what Murphy’s comments did. At the very least Sen. Murphy should be censured by the U.S. Senate. And he should also be brought up on charges. Something special happened at the Winter Olympics. It’s a rare moment when a sports team can unite the country. But that’s what happened on Sunday – when the men’s hockey team won not only the gold – but they won the hearts of a nation.  Millions of Americans watched the game from the living rooms and neighborhood pubs and many even watched on their smart phones – tucked away in pews during church. Which could explain why there were spontaneous shouts of “praise the Lord” during the preacher’s sermon.  But not everyone was proud to be an American on Sunday.  Huffington Post writer Monica Torres penned a scathing attack on our country. The president of the student body at Iowa State University has been impeached by the Student Government Association because he is part of a group with ties to Turning Point USA. They claim he acted with “malfeasance” because he supports conservatives running for student government. Colby Brandt will now face a Supreme Court trial to determine if he will be removed from office. Ironically, at the same meeting the SGA approved funding for an Iranian student group and other far-left causes. In Aurora, Illinois hundreds of students marched out of class waving Mexican flags the other day. They were protesting ICE agents. The mob of teens attacked police officers and a man holding a Trump banner. In Lake Zurich, Illinois a teenager holding a pro-ICE sign was literally punched in the face. And in another incident – a kid wearing a MAGA hat was taunted and bullied. Do you really think that middle schools and first graders are really monitoring ICE deportations? Or do you find it more plausible that teachers are using classroom time to promote anti-ICE propaganda? There is a clear and present danger in our nation’s classrooms. The Communists and the Anarchists have gotten a foothold in our nation’s education system. That’s why it’s imperative that President Trump abolish the Department of Education, bust up the teachers unions and return control of our schools back to the American people. Generation Z is not all that smart – now that’s not what Todd Starnes says – but that is what the experts say. The generation born between 1997 and 2010 is the very first generation that did worse in school than the generation before them.  Dr. Jared Horvath is a top neurologist and he recently testified before Congress regarding standardized academic tests. He says Gen-Z underperformed on basically every cognitive measure from basic attention, literacy and general IQ. The doctor says one of the reasons is because kids are spending too much time in front of screens – and not enough time actually learning.  Dr. Horath says he’s not anti-tech, rather he’s pro-rigor. He wants schools to put away the laptops and give the kids actual books – make them use a pen and a piece of paper again. I’m not so sure about the doctor’s take on Generation Z- but it sure would be nice if they would return phone calls – and answer text messages on the same day they were sent.   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

CNN anchors said on national television that women and country folks were too ignorant to get a form of identification. That’s why they oppose any efforts to force voters to show proof of citizenship. You have to have an ID to buy booze, get on board an airplane, book a hotel room and even buy a bottle of NyQuil.
